Today it is snowing out and my body aches something fierce. I just want to get into a hot tub and let my muscles relax without causing any cramping. Oh well, I will call upon the Lord whom is my Savior.
I pray this message finds you well Nadine. Sorry my computer has been acting up and I need a new one. I am trying to get back to my friends here and check on them. You are one of them. I hope all is ok and please send me a message to let me know how you are doing with the new cane. Love bunches Sunshyne
The pain I am in is chronic and it does rob me from my joy from time to time. However, I rely on the Lord to relieve me of that pain. Yes, there are good days and bad days, but I think that the good days outweigh the bad ones. When we are fighting a battle, most of us know that it is the devil who is taking his place and wants to make sure we are unhappy. He is trying to say that God has forsaken you, that God does not care and that you are on your own. NOT TRUE! God has given us two weapons a shield and a sword. The weapons of righteousness in our right hand and our left hand. We take the shield of faith which helps us to extinguish the flaming arrows of the devil and the sword of the spirit which is the Word of the God. One is a weapon of defense and the other is a weapon of attack. Our enemy is no match for God. I include pain as my enemy. So the next time I am in pain I pick up my shield of faith and the sword of the spirit and pray that the pain will decrease. "With those weapons, they are not weapons of the world," says Paul. "On the contrary, they have a divine power to demolish strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10:4 So when we find ourselves in battle against pain and spiritual battles claim the promises of God.
